1. Brief Description

*Manage the entire branch activities to a higher level in terms of productivity, knowledge, growth and staff management for Port Klang Branch.


2. Key Result Areas

*To manage all daily operations activities.

*To ensure all shipments are executed in a timely manner.


3. Key Accountabilities/Duties

*To ensure all reports bills are on time for submission to management and customer.

*To ensure billing on time with zero errors.

*To control on the staff overtime and minimize all operating costs.

*To assist in managing staff performance, attendance and quality of work.

*Define and driving to achieve department goals.

*Attend to all queries from customers and respond on time.

*To ensure achievement of Department KPI.

*To ensure compliance with Customer KPI.

*To negotiate rates with relevant vendors.

*To assist in providing quotation to customers as when is needed.

*To assist in executing air shipments and coordinate on trucking shipments.

*Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.



* Male & Female below 45 years old

*Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.

*Minimum 5 years industry experience preferred.

*Minimum 2 years supervisory or managerial experience required.


5. Key Competencies

*Education and Experience

*In depth knowledge of haulage and trucking management.

*Sound knowledge in custom regulations and requirement.


Languages and Communication Skills

*Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken.

*Good interpersonal and communication skills.

*Ability to interact well with all levels of employees.


Computer Skills

*Proficient with Microsoft Office.

*Familiar with customs declaration system.



*A team player with well-developed leadership style and mature personality.

*Positive thinking, independent and able to work pressure to meet tight deadlines.

*Pleasant personality and people-oriented.

*Flexible and willing to try new methods and ideas.

*High sense of commitment and responsibility.
