Job description

  • Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence, collecting information, initiating telecommunications
  • Maintains department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel; arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
  • Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments
  • Typing, preparing and collecting reports
  • Filing coordinator
  • Organizing and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)
  • Managing department databases
  • Arrange travel accommodations and claim expense forms for the department personnel
  • Operate office machinery, including photocopiers, scanners, telephone and voicemail systems, and computers
  • Maintain updated systems for filing, inventory, mailing, and databases
  • Maintain stationery, office equipment, and inventories.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing office correspondence
  • Compile and maintain records of office activities and business transactions

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Required Skill(s): Competency in Microsoft including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Good Organizational
  • Proficient in the use of computers, including accounting software, database software
  • Document management software and Microsoft Office,
  • Secretarial experience preffered, but not required
  • Excellent time management
  • Can communicate in Mandarin is an advantage
